Patients are seen by appointment. For large animal services, please call our receptionist to schedule a visit or a clinic appointment.
In the small animal clinic, appointments are scheduled Monday from approximately 10AM to 5PM; Wednesday from Noon-5:30PM, Friday and Saturday AM. On Tuesday and Thursday, surgeries and dentals are scheduled in the morning with afternoons left open for appointments.
Equine appointments with Dr. Hanrahan are usually scheduled in advance with time left open in each day to see patients who are ill or injured and unable to wait for a future appointment. Since Dr. Hanrahan is not in the office on a regular schedule, please be prepared to leave a message with the receptionist detailing the services you require and the days and times which would be most suitable to you. Please be aware that dental appointments are often booked up several weeks in advance.
Equine dental appointments can often be scheduled more expeditiously if owners are willing to bring horses into the clinic. In clinic, procedures can be done without concern over outside temperature and therefore allow us to provide better service to our patients. We also have the additional safety factor of more optimal restraint provided by our specially designed stocks. To encourage clients to bring horses to the clinic for dentistry, these patients are not charged an office call fee.
